CTiC LENT SERVICES 2022

Saturday 26 March – in person Orthodox Vespers at St Peter’s Church, Prescott Place – 6.00pm.

Information for those who aren’t familiar with Orthodox services – one of the differences you will see first is that the congregation don’t have hymn or service books. The singing is done by a small choir. There is no organ or any sort of musical instruments. Vespers is a peaceful service which includes psalms, readings and prayers. The congregation generally stands during the service, but anyone who needs to sit may do so, of course. Orthodox churches always have many Icons and we light candles before them as we enter the church

Sunday 3 April – in person evening service at Holy Trinity Clapham at 5.30pm

Sunday 10 April – in person Palm Sunday service of music and readings at Clapham Methodist Church, Clapham High Street – 6.00pm
