And the doors are OPENED ......

Some of our most observant parishioners have enquired as to where has the Crucifix gone from the back of the church and why the back door (or front depending on your point of view) are now totally exposed after all these years. The reason is to do with the fact that we are exploring the idea of opening up the ‘Front Door’ and putting glass in the entrance way, thus allowing people to see the church and it’s life going on from the street. This would enable people who have never entered our church, but who pass it several times a day to see, and maybe appreciate, all that we do in this holy place. We have sometime – due to various bodies we need to apply to – before this will be put in place, however it is good that you know exactly what is going on in your church. Also you needn’t worry about the money for this improvement as we have two generous benefactors on our side. We thank God for them.
