Catechists

Catechists are in charge of assisting people who are getting ready for the Sacraments, whether they are First Holy Communion and Reconciliation candidates, Confirmation candidates, parents of children getting baptised, or adults looking to join the church.

 

This crucial position generally calls for a consistent commitment to leading groups (often between September and May), but it may also be immensely satisfying as you share your religion and knowledge with others, usually young people or children.

St Mary's would also be appreciative of assistance with other required components of these courses, such as administration and documentation.
